Lead one of Mayfair's most prestigious restaurant and late-night hospitality destinations. Isabel Mayfair is known for its vibrant fusion of Latin and Mediterranean cuisine, glamorous atmosphere, and exceptional late-night experience in our exclusive Dragon Room. Since opening in 2017, Isabel has become synonymous with refined hospitality in Mayfair. As part of the wider BNF Hospitality portfolio, Isabel continues to evolve and grow, with a strong focus on operational excellence, guest experience and commercial performance.

We are seeking an experienced and highly commercial General Manager to lead Isabel Mayfair. This is a high-profile leadership role responsible for the overall performance of one of London's most recognised hospitality venues. You will oversee all aspects of the business, including operations, guest experience, people leadership, financial performance and compliance. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable leading a premium dining operation and a busy late-night bar environment, ensuring exceptional standards are maintained throughout the guest journey. This role requires a visible, hands-on leader who can inspire teams, drive accountability and create a culture of excellence whilst delivering strong commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Experience
    • Maintain Isabel's reputation as a leading Mayfair hospitality destination
    • Build strong relationships with VIP guests and key stakeholders
    • Handle guest feedback professionally and effectively
  • Operations
    • Maintain exceptional standards of guest service across both restaurant and bar operations
    • Ensure all operational procedures, service standards and company policies are consistently followed
    • Monitor service delivery and continuously identify opportunities for improvement
    • Lead management briefings and operational meetings
  • Leadership & People Management
    • Lead, motivate and develop a large front and back-of-house team
    • Create a positive, high-performance culture focused on service excellence
    • Coach and develop departmental managers and supervisors
    • Ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning
  • Commercial Performance
    • Deliver agreed revenue, profitability and KPI targets
    • Manage labour costs, stock control and operational expenditure
    • Work closely with Head Office functions to maximise commercial performance
    • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and enhance guest experience
  • Compliance & Standards
    • Ensure full compliance with licensing, health & safety, food safety and employment legislation
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and operational discipline
    • Lead audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required

We are Looking for a Hospitality Professional Who:

  • Has significant General Manager experience within premium hospitality environments
  • Has experience operating in Mayfair, Central London or similar high-end hospitality markets
  • Has experience managing both restaurant and late-night bar operations
  • Has proven experience managing VIP and high-profile clientele
  • Has worked within high-volume, high-profile hospitality venues
  • Is a strong people leader with experience managing senior managers and department heads
  • Has experience managing P&L performance, budgets and labour costs
  • Is highly organised and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Is comfortable working evenings and weekends as required by the business

Desirable

  • Experience within luxury restaurants, private members' clubs or premium hospitality venues
