About the Role
Are you a skilled Painter & Decorator with a passion for high-quality finishes and a keen eye for detail? Join our dynamic Facilities Department at Fitness First, where your work will directly contribute to creating inspiring spaces for our members and staff.
As a key member of our team, you’ll ensure our clubs are maintained to the highest standards, reflecting the premium experience we offer across all our locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver painting and decorating tasks to a high standard across our London clubs.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including working at height.
- Liaise with club teams and internal departments to coordinate and communicate progress.
- Prepare materials and equipment in advance to ensure efficient task completion.
- Use our CAFM platform to plan, prioritise, and record tasks and site visits.
- Support nationwide projects and be flexible with working hours when required.
- Work collaboratively with external suppliers and contractors on-site.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) – desirable.
- Proven experience in painting and decorating roles.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently, flexibly or as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Comfortable using digital systems for task management.
- Full UK driving licence – essential (company vehicle may be provided).
