The Trade Marketing Specialist is the lynch pin between the Commercial and Brand team. Responsible for the planning and execution of all Trade Marketing activations across our US wholesale accounts. Working closely with the Head of Global Trade Marketing and the Commercial teams your primary focus will be to maximise sales and marketing opportunities both online and offline, while also supporting elevating our brand visibility and consideration.
Responsibilities
- Managing the planning of US wholesale including Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Walmart, Zappos, and Nordstrom, as well as multiple independent accounts.
- Planning and executing 360 campaigns across online and offline key accounts with a focus on building brand visibility and consideration in store through engaging retail displays and online through influencer activations, PDP amplification, and sponsored product campaigns.
- Managing seasonal brand page and product page updates, including A+ content.
- Overseeing performance across self-managed portals to activate paid media campaigns making strategic recommendations and optimisations to drive success.
- Acting as the first point of contact for the Sales teams, developing, and managing relationships with key stakeholders to understand commercial opportunities and coordinate Quarterly Review sessions reviewing past activations and aligning on future plans.
- Working alongside the Planning Team to effectively monitor sell in styles and sell through opportunities to inform marketing campaign optimisations.
- Managing individual account budgets, working closely with the Sales and Finance teams on forecasting in line with seasonal orders.
- Organizing the execution of all US tradeshows with the support of the commercial team, ensuring premium standards & investigating new opportunities to scale reach.
- Working within our UK based Global Trade Marketing Team.
The Person
- You will already have gained digital marketing experience working within a similar role and environment.
- Direct experience working with online retailers and self-managed portals to activate campaigns including paid sponsored brand/product, keyword strategies, display (onsite/offsite) & influencers.
- Relevant experience collaborating with retailers; understanding of larger key accounts as well as independent stores.
- Preferred experience working directly with Amazon/Zappos or similar.
- Experience in creating comprehensive campaign reports with focus on ad sales, reach, conversion and ROAS.
- Commercially astute with experience in managing large scale budgets.
- Experience in developing and executing multi-channel marketing plans.
- Highly creative, yet commercially minded.
- Collaborator with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels within the business and externally.
- Energetic, flexible, and keen to develop their skills across the full marketing and commercial mix.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and react fast to changing environments.
