The Trade Marketing Manager is the lynch pin between the Commercial and Brand team. Responsible for the planning and execution of all Trade Marketing activations across our EMEA Wholesale accounts.

Working closely with the Head of Global Trade Marketing and the Commercial teams your primary focus will be to maximise sales and marketing opportunities within our key Markets both online and offline, while also supporting elevating our brand visibility and consideration.

The Responsibilities:

  1. Working closely with the Head of Global Trade Marketing to manage the strategic planning of EMEA wholesale including accounts such as Amazon, John Lewis, Zalando, Next and QVC.
  2. Planning and executing 360 campaigns across key accounts with a focus on building brand visibility and consideration in store through engaging retail displays and online through influencer activations, digital campaigns & sponsored product.
  3. Managing the delivery of efficient growth across online pureplayers including; Amazon & Zalando. Driving brand & sales performance, initiating conversion driving tactics and building strong stakeholder relationships.
  4. Supporting the Digital Marketing Executive in the day to day management of external Retail Media agency driving Amazon account performance.
  5. Acting as the first point of contact for the Sales teams, developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders to understand commercial decisions and opportunities – supporting with the ‘Go to Market Plans’ as well as reactive activations.
  6. Managing individual account budgets, working closely with the Sales and Finance teams on forecasting in line with seasonal orders.
  7. Working collaboratively with the Product, Commercial and Brand teams to own and deliver the creation of the effective ‘Sell-in-Tools’ including; range catalogues, product photography, seasonal displays, POS & VM tools.
  8. Organizing & supporting in executing all EMEA tradeshows, ensuring premium execution & investigating new opportunities.
  9. Acting as brand guardian ensuring all accounts have updated seasonal imagery across all channels ensuring communication of the updated asset bank.
  10. Managing the Digital Marketing Executive and Trade Marketing Assistant.

The Person:

  1. 5+ years Trade/Retail Marketing experience within a similar role.
  2. Relevant experience working with retailers; understanding of larger key accounts as well as independent stores.
  3. Experience working with online retailers and overseeing self-managed portals to activate campaigns.
  4. Experience in developing and executing multi-channel marketing plans.
  5. Highly creative, yet commercially minded.
  6. External agency management is preferred.
  7. Commercially astute with budget management experience.
  8. Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels within the business and externally.
  9. Energetic, flexible and keen to develop their skills across the full marketing and commercial mix.
  10. Ability to manage multiple projects and react fast to changing environments.
  11. Experienced people manager – setting & achieving clear objectives and managing day to day performance.
