Please note this role will be 2-3 days per week dependant on the selected candidate. The Sustainability & CSR Coordinator will support the delivery of FitFlop’s sustainability strategy activities across environmental and social areas. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in sustainability within a consumer brand, supporting data collection, supplier engagement, reporting, and internal sustainability initiatives.
The Responsibilities:
- Sustainability & Environmental Support
- Support delivery of environmental initiatives such as waste reduction, recycling and charity partnerships.
- Support data collection for sustainability reporting (e.g. ESG, climate, packaging, waste and recycling data).
- Create and maintain trackers and dashboards for sustainability metrics and KPIs.
- Assist with research into sustainability regulations, standards and best practice relevant to the business.
- Ethical Sourcing & Supply Chain
- Support supplier engagement activities, including questionnaires, data follow‑ups and document collation.
- Assist with administration of ethical audit programmes and supplier compliance records.
- Help maintain supplier records related to ethics, worker welfare and traceability.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Support preparation of internal sustainability updates for teams and leadership.
- Assist with evidence gathering for external frameworks, certifications or assessments.
- Maintain organised sustainability and CSR documentation.
- Communication & Engagement
- Support internal sustainability communications and employee engagement activities.
- Assist in coordinating sustainability training, events and campaigns.
- Help with content for internal channels (e.g. Teams updates) and external communications.
- General Support
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative and project support to the Sustainability & CSR Manager.
- Coordinate meeting notes, actions and follow‑ups for sustainability projects.
The Person:
- Degree-level education in sustainability, environmental science, CSR, geography, business, supply chain or a related subject.
- Strong interest in sustainability and ESG; fashion and/or footwear industry knowledge/experience preferred.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with data and chasing information.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Collaborative and communicative, happy working across teams.
- Confident with Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English language.
