The Senior Trade Marketing Specialist is a key player in driving commercial and brand success across our pure player accounts. Working closely with the Head of Global Trade & Partner Marketing and the Commercial teams, your primary focus will be to maximise sales and marketing opportunities, while also supporting elevating our brand visibility and consideration.
The Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Head of Global Trade & Partner Marketing to manage the strategic planning of EMEA wholesale pure players including Amazon, Zalando, Next and Shop Direct – to drive brand and sales performance through initiating conversion driving tactics and building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Building and maintaining strong commercial relationship with Amazon to support business performance, initiating new marketing tactics, planning event participation and budget control.
- Day to Day management of external Retail Media agency driving Amazon account performance with the support of the Head of Global Trade & Partner Marketing.
- Managing seasonal brand page and product page updates, including A+ content – rolling out across wider marketing team.
- Planning and executing 360 campaigns across key accounts with a focus on building brand visibility and consideration through influencer activations, PDP amplification and sponsored product campaigns.
- Overseeing performance across self-managed portals to activate paid media campaigns making strategic recommendations and optimisations to drive success.
- Acting as the first point of contact for the Sales teams, developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders to understand commercial decisions and opportunities.
- Working alongside the Planning Team to effectively monitor sell in styles and sell through opportunities to inform marketing campaign optimisations.
- Managing individual account budgets, working closely with the Sales and Finance teams on forecasting in line with seasonal orders.
- Acting as brand guardian to ensure all wholesale accounts have updated seasonal imagery through managing the wholesale audit strategy actioned by the Global Marketing Assistant.
- Ensuring the critical path is met and quarterly review meetings are presented to the Head of Global Trade & Partner Marketing.
- Working closely with the Trade Marketing Specialist to coordinate Quarterly Review sessions with Commercial team – reviewing past activations and aligning on future plans.
- Managing the Marketing Assistant supporting personal and professional development through clear objective setting and encouraging additional learning opportunities and embedding of companywide values.
The Person:
- You will have already gained some digital marketing experience within a similar role and environment.
- Direct experience working with online retailers and self-managed portals to activate campaigns including paid sponsored brand/product, keyword strategies, display (onsite/offsite) & influencers.
- Preferred experience working directly with Amazon or similar.
- Experience in managing external agencies day to day and monitoring performance through creation of briefs and reports.
- Experience in creating comprehensive campaign reports with focus on ad sales, reach, conversion and ROAS.
- Commercially astute with experience in managing large scale budgets.
- Strong project management skills with experience in people management (either direct or via projects).
- Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels within the business and externally.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Highly creative, yet commercially minded.
- Energetic, flexible and keen to develop their skills across the full marketing and commercial mix.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and react fast to changing environments.
