We have a fantastic vacancy for a Technology Project Manager to come into the team at a time of exciting change. With the chance to really impact the future of our business globally through owning delivery of priority projects as part of our strategic business plan.
You will work proactively with the key business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of named projects and driving efficiencies through improved processes whilst bringing the various teams (internal and external) together at scheduled project events. You will be expected to deliver with speed and accuracy the enhancements and projects to specification, within the constraints of time and costs. Ensuring the delivery of planned benefits whilst actively managing the expectations of the business will be key to the role. You will be instrumental in ensuring these functions are met in a controlled and well documented way. Covering all FitFlop existing systems including our existing Integrations & Infrastructure.
You will build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, whilst having the tenacity and dynamism to get buy-in at all levels of the business. You’ll support project initiations to deliver projects effectively. Your skills and experience will ensure the delivery of new, innovative solutions as part of the global IT roadmap.
Responsibilities- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Manage day to day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Coordinate input from all project members including third party suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
- Conduct lessons learnt and plan future optimisation phases.
- Maintain suite of project documentation templates (Gantt chart, Risk and Issues Register, Deployment Readiness Assessment).
- Product weekly status reports for each project.
- Schedule all project meetings with internal stakeholders and third parties.
- Gather and publish meeting agenda in advance of meetings.
- Provide expertise on delivery times, milestones, and dependencies for all projects.
- Promote Agile practice within project delivery function.
- Administrate daily stand-ups, capturing action points and blockers.
- Document and elevate issues jeopardising timely project delivery/milestone achievement.
- Prepare status reports (typically PowerPoint templates) for Steering Committee meetings.
- Collaborate with BA and development teams to highlight changes to project scope.
- Lead the delivery of the creation of a new approach to key markets (including India and China).
- Provide project management support for the new Digital transformation.
- Delivery the move from Tableau to Power BI, alongside Snowflake reporting.
- Support the opening of key accounts in the US, including Amazon.
Ideally you'll have project management experience within technology and/or supply chain and looking for the opportunity to further develop a career in these areas. Experience managing projects within the Retail or FMCG sector is beneficial. Motivated by the delivery of change. Some previous contact with large scale projects adding tangible benefits. Can build excellent relationships with all areas of the business. Participating in teams to train and advance the business. Self-starting and disciplined with ability to meet goals. Ability to challenge and be challenged. Demonstrate influencing skills. Some experience of working with third parties, onsite and offsite, onshore and offshore. High level of attention to detail. Awareness of Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
Desirable Skills and ExperiencePractical, open minded and adaptable. Must have good communication, organisation, and team building skills; articulate and able to adapt to group dynamics. Good knowledge of retail technology processes and practices, particularly in the footwear space. Some understanding of ecommerce landscape, including ecommerce platforms.
