Please note this is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. We are looking for a Junior Solution Architect to join our Technology team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role created to provide dedicated capacity across a portfolio of strategic programmes currently in flight. You will work closely with our existing Solution Architect to provide technical leadership and integration expertise across three major programmes: a NetSuite ERP implementation, a Shopify ecommerce integration, and an EU warehouse onboarding.
The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running, take ownership of defined workstreams, and operate with a high degree of independence. In the first 30 days, you will be embedded into the NetSuite programme, familiar with the current integration landscape, and contributing directly to delivery. By month three, you will be owning defined workstreams across one or more programmes with clear accountability. By month six, the team will have materially improved its delivery confidence and pace across the portfolio.
The Responsibilities
- NetSuite ERP Implementation
- Support delivery of outstanding integrations and act as technical liaison with the system integrator (SI)
- Provide oversight of SI delivery quality and assist in managing the recovery plan for current programme delays
- Review integration designs, validate technical outputs, and identify risks early
- Contribute to testing, UAT coordination, and go-live readiness activities
- Shopify Integration
- Support configuration and validation of the NetSuite-Shopify connector
- Assist in scoping and delivering any bespoke development requirements as they are identified
- Work with commercial and digital teams to understand data flow requirements and translate into technical solutions
- EU Warehouse Onboarding
- Support the technical onboarding of an EU warehouse using the same WMS and supplier as the existing UK operation
- Lead or coordinate integration testing, data validation, and go-live support activities
- Document configurations and ensure knowledge transfer to the internal team
The Person
- You will have gained some experience in a Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, or senior integration role
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite — configuration, REST/SOAP APIs, SuiteScript, or integration development
- Experience with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms, particularly around integration and data flows
- Proven track record delivering ERP or systems integration projects in a commercial environment
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable joining an active programme and adding value quickly with minimal onboarding time
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and associated integrations
- Familiarity with middleware or iPaaS platforms (e.g. Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft)
- Experience working in retail, ecommerce, or logistics environments
- Exposure to SI governance or third-party delivery management
We recognise that not everyone will meet every requirement. If you’re excited about this role and feel like you could add value, we’d love to hear from you.
