The Digital Planning Assistant supports the team by ensuring the right products are allocated and optimized for the Amazon account through in-depth analysis. You’ll have strong analytical and Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
The Responsibilities:
- Marketplace & regional trading
- Monitor trading performance across Amazon 1P
- Support trading actions to maximise sell-through and availability
- Understand and react to platform-specific dynamics (e.g. Amazon demand patterns)
- Stock & inventory management
- Manage stock levels by SKU, size, and region
- Support allocation and replenishment decisions
- Monitor availability and regional performance differences
- Flag inventory risks and opportunities early
- Price, promotions & markdowns
- Support execution of pricing and promotional strategies
- Monitor impact of promotions and markdowns on performance and margin
- Ensure actions align with agreed commercial guardrails
- Reporting & analysis
- Produce regular performance reports across Amazon
- Analyse SKU-level performance and regional differences
- Feed insights into range hindsight and future planning
- Monthly and seasonal forecast analysis to support buying decisions
- Supporting planning team on monthly omni-channel bestsellers report
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with the Collection Digital Merchandising Planner
- Partner with marketplace, operations, and ecommerce teams
The Person:
- Early-career experience in merchandising, ecommerce, or marketplace trading
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with performance data
- Interest in international ecommerce and marketplaces
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Tableau or Power Bi would be advantageous
- Great communication skills!
- You’ve got the hunger for hitting the numbers and happy to talk about them
- Happy to ‘Geek Out’ and obsess over KPIs
- You’ll be a proactive person enthused by the results of your team
