As a Product Merchandiser at FitFlop, you play a pivotal role during an exciting phase of product evolution, where fresh energy, innovation, and commercial focus are at the heart of everything we do. You drive key product ranges from concept to market, shaping compelling assortments that meet both customer needs and ambitious financial targets. Combining sharp analytical thinking with a passion for product, you influence pricing, optimise margins, and build dynamic range plans across regions and channels. Working cross-functionally with Design, PD, Planning and Marketing, you bring insight, pace, and creativity to the process. Helping to unlock new opportunities, elevate the product offering, and ultimately drive growth in a fast-moving and energised environment.
The Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing our Traditional Open Toe and Value range from concept to market.
- Manage Range Plan proposals are appropriate vs financial targets and all related deadlines are met, all product related information is communicated in a timely manner to internal and external stakeholders.
- Management pricing across all regions and channels for areas in charge.
- Managing daily updates and amendments to the Collection Structure using our tools (Smartsheet, Excel etc.)
- Assist with range strategy, range structure and product range presentations to management and sales teams to increase sales and achieve targets.
- Produce analysis to support seasonal range build and ad hoc business requirements as defined.
- Use analysis to create range plans for the key reviews – Gender / Segmentation / Silhouette / Price points / Initial Sales forecast and target markets.
- Work with Internal Sales and Business Analyst teams to develop knowledge of key markets and understand their needs, risks and opportunities, and feed this into initial range plan build.
- Compile weekly / monthly Global sell through reports including key markets insight and share with key business areas as required.
- Responsible for item level costings, liaising with PD and Asia costing team to provide clear targets, optimise margins against target retails in line with range plan (good/better/best hierarchy).
- Additional responsibilities as directed by Head of Product Merchandiser.
The Person:
- Experience in merchandising and merchandising techniques (perfect opportunity for a Junior Product/Merchandiser or Senior Assistant)
- Experience of working with product line management
- Experience of merchandising and lifecycle management
- Team player is a must
- Excellent mathematical, analytical and Excel skills, can range plan without a planning system
- A self-starter and problem solver
- Strong natural commercial awareness
