The Retail Banking Learning Sales Specialist is a revenue-generating sales role.

You will win new business and grow existing accounts by selling Fitch Learning’s learning programmes, certifications, coaching, and learning technology solutions to retail banks globally.

You will own an annual sales target and your own pipeline, managing every stage from prospecting and opportunity creation through proposal, negotiation, and close.

Our target clients are retail banking executives and learning leaders.

You will sell integrated learning solutions that improve workforce capability and business performance and will be measured on the revenue you deliver.

This role suits a proven, target-driven sales professional who combines a new-business mindset with credible retail banking knowledge and can use conversations about customer outcomes, distribution effectiveness, and business performance with senior executives to create, progress, and close commercial opportunities.

About the Team

You will join Fitch Learning’s Sales organisation, working in a collaborative, team-based selling model with strong product and delivery support.

You will have access to Fitch Learning’s enterprise client base and the opportunity to build additional market share in this core area for financial services.

  • Develop relationships with senior buyers and decision-makers, including Heads of Retail Banking, Heads of Distribution, Learning & Development and HR Leaders, Chief Customer Officers, and Transformation executives.
  • Consultative Solution Selling
  • Own the full sales cycle from first meeting to signed contract, including qualification, discovery, solution design, proposal development, pricing, negotiation, and close.
  • Build compelling business cases and return-on-investment arguments that connect workforce capability to commercial performance and justify client investment.
  • Lead responses to RFPs, tenders, and proposals for retail banking opportunities.
  • Position solutions around business outcomes rather than training activity to win larger, more strategic deals.
  • Sell learning solutions that create measurable improvements in customer experience, trusted advisory capability, commercial acumen, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Sell integrated offerings that combine diagnostics, assessments, certification pathways, coaching, and AI-enabled coaching.
  • Win multi-year engagements by positioning Fitch Learning as the partner to build and run scalable capability academies for customer-facing populations.

  • Meet agreed sales activity levels for prospecting, client meetings, and proposals.
  • Share market and competitor intelligence to sharpen propositions and pricing.
  • Operate in line with Fitch Learning sales processes, governance, pricing, and commercial controls.

  • Strong proposal-writing, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, including pricing and deal structuring.
  • What Would Make You Stand Out
  • A track record of selling into banks or other financial services institutions.
  • An existing network of retail banking decision-makers that you can convert into pipeline.
  • Experience selling learning technology, AI-enabled coaching, diagnostics, or capability measurement solutions.
  • Direct experience within retail banking, branch banking, or consumer financial services.
