Fitch Ratings is seeking a talented, resourceful and versatile publication design specialist for its Manchester office. The successful candidate will format time-sensitive credit research.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Perform high-quality formatting and layout of research reports under deadline pressure.
  • Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Be an agile and efficient formatter, capable of laying out content in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint to produce a high-quality finished product.
  • Help to manage content through to production, delivering a design and layout consistent with Fitch standards.
  • Become adept at using the Fitch global research publishing applications.
  • Work with analysts and editors to ensure accuracy and legibility of charts and tables.
  • Provide constructive criticism to analysts and editors on design and layout.
  • Support accuracy and style standards in the publishing process.

What You Need to Have:

  • Formatting skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Desktop publishing experience and familiarity with data visualization would be a bonus.
  • Ability to handle multiple reports within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a close-knit team as well as independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Motivated and resilient.
