About the Team: BMI's team integrates cross-domain expertise (Economics, Politics, 20+ industries, ESG, Commodities) and computer science to create systematic country-by-country risk analytics and time series forecasts that are transparent and can be validated. We are looking for a project manager for our growing Analytics and Data product team. We have a multi-year product strategy to deliver unique, data-driven value to our diverse user base across financial services, corporates, and government sectors. You will work closely with product managers, technical leads, designers, data scientists, and subject matter and domain experts. We will count on you to help these truly cross-functional teams to collaborate and deliver value against our roadmap throughout agile product development lifecycles.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Lead risk management, project governance and continuous process improvement, and proactively help us understand dependencies and resolutions, particularly cross-platforms and squads.
  • Identify and surface risks early and implement mitigation strategies along with the right stakeholders.
  • Help us deliver on scope, time and budget; by supporting spend assessments and ensuring we flex scope/budget as needed by raising risks well ahead of time.
  • Support agile product discovery and design, enhancing efficiency, team collaboration and instill an outcome and value driven culture.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence (and any other tools) for project tracking, documentation, and communication.
  • Cultivate a high-performing team environment, supporting collaboration and innovation.
  • Understand team dynamics and team styles to maintain team health and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status and performance.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • 5 years of hands-on project management experience, preferably in B2B and cloud/software project management or a high-tech environment.
  • Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving business-critical initiatives.
  • Strong record of collaboration across Data Science, Technology and Product teams.
  • Expertise in project governance, risk management, and financial planning.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with data science and data operation teams.
  • Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
