About The Team

CreditSights is searching for a Fixed Income Data Product Owner who will play a crucial role in the development and success of our product offerings. This role involves working closely with the Product Manager and cross‑functional teams to drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of product management principles, excellent communication skills and a passion for working with data to deliver an exceptional user experience.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Assist in the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Work closely with engineering, other product teams, marketing and sales to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring it reflects current business priorities.
  • Develop detailed user stories and establish acceptance criteria so that stories are ready for development.
  • Run agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that stories meet the definition of done and acceptance criteria.
  • Discuss features with internal and external customers, focusing on usability, time‑to‑value, feature completeness and the overall user journey.
  • Write and run queries using SQL and other tools to analyse data, validate use cases and product requirements with end users.
  • Handle issues with current features and provide solutions based on customer feedback.
  • Track and analyse product performance metrics such as team productivity, product adoption and feature performance, and implement improvements at the squad level.

You May Be a Good Fit If

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years in product management, product development or a related role.
  • Experience with Fixed Income data and products in the financial information services industry, familiarity with data models, databases and data analysis and experience working with remote teams.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and data query/analysis systems such as SQL.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
  • Customer‑Centric: Passion for understanding and addressing customer needs.
