We are searching for a Sell Side Account Manager (Sales) Associate Director based in London. The role oversees commercial partnerships with key sell‑side entities within the UK, with occasional travel.

The successful candidate will promote Fitch Solutions products including Fitch Credit Ratings, Credit Research, Fundamental Financial Data & Analytics, Country Risk, Industry Research & Geopolitical Risk from BMI, ESG products from Sustainable Fitch and CreditSights Credit Market Research, Covenant Analysis and Leveraged Finance News.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own book of business: develop and grow existing client accounts by identifying opportunities to increase spend with cross‑sell/upsell.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets by effectively managing your sales pipeline, developing strategic sales plans and implementing tactical initiatives.
  • Set up and develop long‑lasting client relationships to become a strategic partner to clients by understanding their workflows and market position.
  • Become a subject‑matter expert in the sell‑side segment and Fitch solutions offered to clients.
  • Grow the Fitch Solutions business by persuading and negotiating effectively across the territories.
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams to support client needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Self‑starter with ability to build own pipeline from day one.
  • Highly independent, self‑motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Resilient and adaptable with a positive attitude and a keen desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to negotiate and articulate product value proposition and competitive advantage.
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships, developing business and growing revenue streams.
  • Sales experience within the broader financial market (e.g., fixed income, risk management), with a network in the UK.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self‑motivated and able to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity and perseverance.
  • Understanding of credit risk management processes and regulatory guidelines that require the use of credit ratings.
  • Knowledge of investment and credit risk workflows (risk identification, quantification, modelling, and regulatory requirements).
