Ratings Operations is currently seeking a Product Owner based out of our Manchester office.

The Fitch Ratings Workflow Tribe is a cross functional team responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and building the ratings applications and processes that our credit analysts use to do their jobs. The goal of the Fitch Ratings Workflow Tribe is to deliver continuous improvement, mitigate risks, and identify ways to introduce standardization and automation within Fitch’s ratings applications and workflows.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Define the overall strategy and direction of the applications based on organizational needs, with the goal of optimizing and streamlining the BRM billing process.
  • Enhance and automate billing processes to improve data quality, standardize workflows, and integrate key systems.
  • Own the backlog, feature prioritization, roadmap , and the MVP.
  • Communicate and align with stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure a shared vision of sprint goals and backlogs.
  • Lead the Agile squad to define and align sprint goals, ensuring \”ready\” user stories and supporting the squad to deliver on sprint commitments.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and daily scrum meetings.
  • Work closely with the squad to provide timely feedback and answers to their questions; ultimately accept or reject the product increments of the sprint.
  • Analyze and breakdown complex workflows and system processes for both current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) states in support of BRM Billing automation and standardization.
  • Oversee and guide user training, rollout, and change management processes.

What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of product ownership experience.
  • Agile practitioner capabilities & experience working with or in Agile teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to see the business as a customer and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to create and maintain a backlog and roadmap, and to prioritize that backlog based on business value and technical feasibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt communication to audience – that will range from senior management, key stakeholders in analytical groups, to technical specialists in the squad.
  • Ability to work to get things done in a high-demand, matrixed organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, demonstrating an ability to work well with teams & stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Jira, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Certified Product Owner (CSPO) certification
  • Experience in Billing/Finance/Credit Ratings or Salesforce projects a plus
  • Prior involvement in projects involving Appian
  • This role will work with global stakeholders, so some flexibility on working hours would be appreciated
