Overview
In this role you provide proactive, high-quality administrative support to Fitch’s London-based Ratings COO Group. You will manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, travel, and expenses, and serve as a central communications hub for the group. You’ll help prepare presentations and reports, oversee meeting logistics and facilities, and support cross-functional projects and process improvements. You’ll work in an AI-enabled environment, collaborating with executives and peers globally to sustain efficient, confidential operations. This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented professional who shapes smooth day-to-day operations and supports strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars and coordinate meetings (on-site and virtual)
- Arrange travel and prepare expense reports
- Prepare and compile presentations, reports, and internal communications
- Oversee office facilities and meeting logistics (town halls, board meetings, senior executive meetings)
- Coordinate input for special projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring timely deliverables
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency
- Build strong relationships with executives, managers, and peers
- Support informed decision-making through understanding departmental and company operations
- Resolve day-to-day issues with curiosity and sound judgement
Key requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar administrative role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional correspondence standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Practical IT knowledge for basic troubleshooting and issue escalation
- Experience with Concur or similar expense management systems
