About the Role
The Fitch Ratings AI team is seeking a Junior AI Project Manager to drive portfolio execution across our AI initiatives. This role is central to how we identify, assess, prioritize, and deliver AI use cases. You will support our AI project management: backlog management, intake triage, feasibility/POC support, delivery reporting, and cross-team coordination - ensuring transparency, speed, and high standards of governance and accuracy.

You Will
- Support portfolio and backlog prioritization aligned to Fitch Ratings AI strategy
- Support intake and triage of bottom‑up AI use cases, including early value and feasibility assessment
- Support clear reporting cadences and oversee Jira management across initiatives
- Provide project management support for feasibility studies and POCs, coordinating resources and stakeholders
- Support alignment with the Emerging Technologies team at Fitch Group
What You Need to Have
- Understanding of AI and implementation of AI in workflows
- Experience in project or program management within operations, technology, or data—ideally in financial services
- First experiences managing complex portfolios with multiple concurrent projects and diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong understanding of PM fundamentals: scope, schedule, budget, RAID management, dependency mapping, and stakeholder communication
- Hands‑on experience with Jira (workflows, boards, reporting) and project reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills to assess business value, define KPIs, and support data‑driven decisions
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to influence without formal authority
- Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycles and components and the ability to partner effectively with technical teams
