CreditSights is currently seeking a Data Product Owner based out of our Glasgow office. This role involves working closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of product management principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with data for exceptional user experience.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Product Development: Assist in the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, other product teams, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is up-to-date and reflects the current business priorities.
- User Stories: Develop detailed user stories and establish acceptance criteria to ensure stories are ready for development.
- Agile Ceremonies: Run agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Feature Validation: Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that stories meet the definition of done and acceptance criteria.
- Customer Interaction: Discuss features with internal and external customers, focusing on usability, time to value, feature completeness, and the overall user journey.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Write and run queries using SQL and other tools to analyze data, validate use cases and product requirements with end users.
- Issue Resolution: Handle issues with current features and provide solutions based on customer feedback.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics team productivity, product adoption, feature performance.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, experience with product management tools (Jira, Trello), and data query/analysis systems like SQL.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
