Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Senior Director based out of the London office. The Ratings Strategy & Analytics team provides high-quality, in-depth strategic analysis to drive better outcomes for Fitch Ratings. The team works closely with the COO Group heads and the Ratings Executive Committee on business transformation initiatives, including developing business cases, evaluating cost/benefits for new initiatives, shaping Ratings strategy, and reviewing and making recommendations on strategic opportunities for Fitch Ratings.

We’ll Count On You To
- Lead the development of presentations that tell the story of Fitch Ratings’ business and/or operational strategies, objectives and plans to senior management and executive audiences in a compelling way.
- Produce data driven business cases with actionable recommendations to support high-level decision-making on operations, strategy, tactics and change initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with various business groups across Fitch in conducting analyses to propose recommendations and solutions to address strategic opportunities and/or improve operational processes.
- Work with senior stakeholders to define, articulate, and reinforce Fitch Rating’s strategic objectives.
- Identify ways to measure progress and establish KPIs.
- Compile and analyse data and research from internal and external sources.
- Work with senior team members to build clear insights on Fitch’s business performance.
What You Need To Have
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10-12 years’ experience working in a consulting or in‑house strategy role, ideally related to credit rating agencies, financial services, or the debt capital markets.
- Advanced skill and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- The ability to create structured, detailed and compelling presentations addressed to various audiences within the organization.
- The ability to quickly pick up new concepts and dive deep into problems, clearly articulating what they are, while suggesting solutions with little to no prior background in the subject matter.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to work and think both independently and strategically.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative nature; a team player who works effectively with colleagues and project stakeholders.
