The Pricing Director will assist in the execution and measurement of pricing actions and strategies across the Fitch Solutions business. This role will be responsible for day‑to‑day leadership, governance, and execution of the deal approval process, serving as the primary control point for deal execution – balancing speed with disciplined oversight to protect revenue, margin, and contractual integrity.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the execution of data‑driven pricing strategies across existing and new products.
  • Analyze customer data and regional trends to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team, setting clear priorities, managing performance, and building capability across commercial deal support, approvals, and governance activities.
  • Oversee workload allocation and prioritization to ensure timely, accurate support for commercial teams and efficient deal turnaround.
  • Provide reporting and insights on deal trends, bottlenecks, and operational risks to senior management.
  • Design and implement pricing governance frameworks, policies, and approval processes to ensure compliance, consistency, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain pricing documentation and audit trails.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations stakeholders to allocate team resources effectively, remove blockers, and ensure consistent, timely, and high‑quality deal review and decision support.
  • Prioritize deal flow based on revenue impact, risk, and urgency and manage workload distribution across the team.
  • Flag and mitigate risk in non‑standard deal structures.
  • Drive continuous improvement in speed, quality, and transparency.

You May Be a Good Fit If

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Deal Desk, commercial operations, sales operations, pricing, or structured transaction support, preferably within B2B, SaaS, or data‑driven industries.
  • Experience with CRM, workflow, pricing, or contract management tools, and comfort operating in a process‑driven, metrics‑oriented environment.
  • Operational leader with ability to manage high‑volume workflows.
  • High credibility with Sales and cross‑functional stakeholders.
