Fitch Learning is currently seeking a Skills Coach, Associate level based out of our London office.
About the Team: You will join our Apprenticeship Programs team, a collaborative group of coaches and assessors who support learners across Levels 3, 4, 6, and 7 in Financial Services disciplines. The team partners closely with employers and external auditors to ensure high-quality delivery and outcomes.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Manage a portfolio of apprentices to achieve qualification outcomes on time, driving retention and completion across assigned cohorts.
- Prepare, agree, and review individualized assessment plans; conduct regular workplace visits to observe, support, and provide actionable feedback.
- Map and assess learner evidence against Standard criteria using our e-portfolio system, ensuring timely, accurate submissions.
- Operate assessment processes in line with TAQA standards; participate in standardization meetings and act on recommendations from external auditors.
- Coach and mentor apprentices across Operations, Compliance & Risk, Investment, Banking, Wealth Management, and Customer Services to build skills and confidence.
You May be a Good Fit if You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry (e.g., operations, compliance/risk, investment, banking, or wealth management).
- Familiarity with UK Apprenticeship Standards and the ability to assess evidence against qualification criteria.
- Experience using e-portfolio or learning management systems to manage learner progress.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Willingness to gain Coaching and Assessor qualifications (e.g., TAQA/A1/CAVA) within 12 months of starting.
- Proven ability to deliver inspiring, structured coaching sessions and constructive feedback that motivates learners.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to identifying and overcoming learner barriers to progress.
- Experience supporting apprentices at Levels 3–7, including Investment Operations and Compliance/Risk Standards.
