Fitch Group is currently seeking a Senior HR Business Partner based out of our London office.
A successful Senior HR Business Partner provides expert HR guidance and delivery to enable business goals and objectives, including integrated talent evaluation, development, succession planning, organizational design, workforce planning, staffing, and compensation. They engage in a proactive, strategic dialogue with client groups and collaborate effectively with HR Product and Service Delivery partners.
As a member of the Fitch Group Global HR team, the Senior HRBP contributes to the wider HR strategy and culture, ensuring objectives and ways of working are aligned. They act as a mentor, partner, and collaborative colleague to their team and to key partner groups such as Legal, Finance, and Risk.
The ideal candidate is a global, enterprise-level thinker with a track record of enabling organizational growth through HR products and services. They should have strong knowledge of strategic HR management practices and robust understanding of labor legislation across multiple jurisdictions. Ideally, they will have experience in multiple HR specialty areas (e.g., recruiting, talent, employee relations) and the ability to influence those outside a direct reporting line.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business’ financial position, goals, objectives, deliverables, key business drivers and future trajectory to align HR services and strategy. Understand culture and competition to determine workable solutions for the business and employees.
- Act as the business leader’s Talent partner for all employee-related matters, including performance management, talent planning, succession, workforce/headcount planning, mobility, and organizational change management initiatives.
- Leverage timely, accurate and meaningful management reports and analysis to identify and anticipate workforce issues. Recommend strategies and approaches to address employee matters and trends.
- Work seamlessly with:
- the Ratings Employee Experience HRBPs to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and guide managers and employees through legally sound performance management and corrective action processes.
- the Talent Acquisition team to identify and recruit top talent, interview candidates, agree compensation, and create compelling employment packages.
- the Talent, Learning and Development team to develop and deliver talent and training solutions on technical and management topics.
What May Make You a Good Fit:
- A minimum of 10 years’ professional HR experience, ideally in Consulting, Financial Services or Professional Services.
- Experience partnering with senior executives in dynamic environments through a thoughtful and constructive approach.
- Direct experience in organizational transformation and change management.
- Experience working with global client groups.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and ideally a postgraduate HR or business management qualification.
