Human Resources is currently seeking a temporary HR Product Analyst based out of our Manchester office. The HR Product Analyst will primarily seek and deliver efficiencies within our HR Technology stack and related processes with a focus on enhancing the user experience using AI, automation and system functionality.

The role will also support day-to-day operational activity and wider project initiatives, helping to ensure requirements and metrics are clearly defined, testing is effectively coordinated, documentation is maintained, and opportunities for process improvement are identified. This is not a deeply technical role; instead, it is suited to someone with a broad understanding of HR systems, HR processes and data who can help bridge the gap between HR stakeholders and technology delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Technology and Process Efficiencies: Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency across the HR applications and related processes, leveraging AI, automation, and system capabilities to streamline operations and reduce manual effort. Enhance the HR technology user experience by optimizing system functionality and supporting process improvements.
  • Business Analysis and Requirements Definition: Partner with HR stakeholders to understand business needs, current challenges, and operational pain points. Gather, document and translate business requirements into clear, structured inputs for HR technology and delivery teams.
  • HR Technology Operations and Support: Provide support for end-user data and process queries across HR systems and processes. Work with HR users and stakeholders to clarify issues, resolve queries, and provide timely updates on progress.
  • Documentation, Communication, and Training: Update and improve support documentation, process guides, and knowledge materials. Support the training and guidance of end users to improve adoption and reduce repeat issues.
  • Continuous Improvement, Metrics, and Insight: Identify opportunities, with a focus on AI and automation, to improve efficiency, simplify processes, and enhance the end-user experience across HR technology. Pull together and maintain metrics to support HR technology operations and projects, including volumes, trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
What You Need to Have:
  • Essential Experience in an HR technology, HR systems support, business analyst, or HR operations role.
  • Good working knowledge of SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central, with exposure to relevant modules such as Time Off and Recruiting/RCM.
  • Familiarity with other HR systems, including UKG, and a broader understanding of how HR systems support core HR processes.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements.
  • Experience supporting testing activities, including user acceptance testing or release testing.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy support and project environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation and stakeholder communications.
  • Experience working with ticketing or case management tools such as Jira.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to produce meaningful metrics and reporting.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
  • Experience supporting basic HR system configuration or change requests.
  • Exposure to AI, automation, or digital process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience creating training materials or delivering user support/training.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, global, or matrixed environment.
  • Continuous Improvement – looks for opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and user experience.
  • Collaboration – works effectively across HR and technology teams to achieve shared outcomes.
