How You’ll Make an Impact:
- You will play a key role in our global country risk analysis, helping to set views, producing standard-setting content, and providing intellectual leadership on macroeconomics, country risk and big global themes.
- You will be a key point of contact for clients and for BMI’s commercial team, spending a significant amount of time talking to clients to help them understand our views, and how these views affect their business.
- You will take a leading role in our US coverage in particular, driving views and co-ordinating with the Chief Economist and other country risk analysts on the impact of the US economy and policymaking on the rest of the world.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- We are looking for an experienced analyst with a master’s degree in economics and at least 10 years’ experience in country risk analysis.
- You should demonstrate substantial expertise in macroeconomic forecasting and country risk assessments.
- You should have experience covering the US from an economic and political risk perspective, and ideally other key global markets.
- You will also need to demonstrate substantial experience of helping clients understand country risk

- Very strong communication skills, able to distill complex macroeconomic issues into clear and concise narratives to match client requirements
