Fitch Learning is currently seeking a Learning Designer (Director Level) based out of our Manchester office.
About the Team:
Working as part of a team you will be hands-on and knowledgeable in all areas of the learning creation and production process with a strong handle on both synchronous and asynchronous learning. You will be responsible for designing and developing learning solutions, incorporating instructional design principles and providing learning technology advisory. Your expertise in curriculum development and instructional strategies will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality learning experiences. Ultimately, the role will contribute to the success of learners by fostering their development through well-designed and impactful instructional programs.
This position offers an exciting client facing opportunity and the chance to make a significant impact on the learning journey of individuals across several global financial companies. As a strategic link between global clients and internal teams, you\’ll be vital in creating new and enhancing current solutions, delivering high-impact learning that addresses evolving financial sector skills. You are required to understand the details and benefits of our existing product suite and capabilities.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
• Work with clients, sales and subject matter experts to consult, design and document client learning requirements.
• Translate requirements into specifications such as charters, plans, requirements, etc.
• Design and direct end-to-end process from origination to production while ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Ensure the upkeep of appropriate systems, including process documentation that is in place to support the production.
• Ensure effective andragogical models are championed to facilitate the effectiveness of learning.
• Work with external suppliers, managing quality, cost improvements, and reducing time to market.
• Review learning against current procedures, providing feedback to ensure vendors and internal teams deliver high-quality and consistent content.
• Manage various products and maintain the existing learning library.

• Bachelor\’s Degree: instructional design, education, instructional technology, or a related field or 3 years in-role experience.
• Proficient in Articulate 360 or similar SCORM software creator.
• Design skills within the Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Familiarity knowledge and understanding of LMS systems.
