  • Oversee the production, quality and strategic direction of research and data across Banking, Insurance and Real Estate, ensuring output is timely, commercially relevant and aligned with client needs and BMI’s broader research priorities.

  • Partner with sector teams, global economists and country risk analysts to deliver differentiated cross-sector insights, identify emerging themes and contribute to BMI’s thought leadership on financial systems, market dynamics and investment risks.
  • Represent BMI externally through client engagement, presentations and relationship-building, acting as a senior voice for our financial services research and helping translate market developments into actionable insight for clients.

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • You have significant experience in financial services research, with strong subject-matter expertise in at least one of Banking, Insurance or Real Estate, and a strong understanding of the broader financial services landscape.
  • You have prior people management experience, including line management, coaching and performance development responsibilities within a research, analytical or related environment.
  • You have experience producing or overseeing data-driven research, including forecasting, market analysis and the development of structured analytical output for external or commercial audiences.
  • You are confident presenting to senior stakeholders and clients, with the ability to communicate complex analysis clearly and credibly in both written and verbal formats.

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience launching or expanding research products, datasets or content offerings in response to client demand or market opportunities.
  • A track record of building, scaling or reshaping analytical teams, including talent acquisition and professional development.
  • Experience working across multiple financial services sectors or integrating sector research with macroeconomic, political risk or cross-market analysis.
  • Strong commercial instinct, with the ability to identify where research can drive client engagement, product growth and market differentiation.
