Fitch Ratings & Research Data is currently seeking a Sales Specialist based out of our London office. Fitch Ratings & Research Data helps credit, risk and investment specialists make better-informed decisions and meet regulatory requirements, within and beyond the rated universe. The Sales Specialist will be responsible for leading new business and cross-sell sales efforts for Fitch Solutions Accounts. This fast-paced role will create and execute a sales strategy focused on our various offerings into existing global accounts.
How You’ll Make an Impact- Identify and engage with potential new customers to drive sales.
- Nurture strong relationships with clients to maintain loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Understand and promote company products and/or services.
- Conduct market research and stay abreast of competitor positioning.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing and resolving customer queries or complaints.
- Actively participate in sales team meetings and provide insights for improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective strategies for promoting products or services.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients.
- Handle negotiations and close sales deals effectively, meeting or exceeding sales quotas and goals.
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably as a Sales Specialist or similar.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and other relevant computer applications.
- Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is usually preferred.
- Persistence - the ability to find opportunities where they may not have previously existed by listening intently to client aspirations and using the full power of Fitch to find solutions.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Collaborator – willing to “get your hands dirty” to meet a team goal.
