About The Team

The Chief Data Office is seeking a Senior Associate / Associate Director Python Developer with at least 3 years of experience and Business Intelligence exposure to help deliver insights, support our data analytics platforms, and collaborate on cross-functional solutions. Our team operates globally with presence in London and New York, developing and executing solutions to help business units deliver results, including analytics to support revenue growth, product innovation, productivity gains, and enhancing the reputation of Fitch Group.

The team is looking to hire a Data & Analytics Associate to help us meet our growing business demands and contribute to the development of a unified platform for all data-driven solutions and products. We aim to enhance our analytics capabilities by leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI in the future. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring we have the right data, visualizations, insights, and analytics to support our growth and innovation.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable Python code.
  • Streamline and automate processes using existing technology.
  • Engage with various business lines to gather requirements and ensure BI solutions meet reporting and analytical needs.
  • Use advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large, complex, and disparate data sets.
  • Bachelor\’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Ability to design extraction solutions and build data models for new or existing systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
