This job is with Fitch Group, an inclusive employer. Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a EMEA Corporates Lead for ratings analysis, execution and research on new and existing transactions in Transport in project finance/infrastructure and corporates.
- Provide credit leadership in the ratings process, ensuring consistent application of Fitch’s criteria.
- Chair or lead rating committee discussions and provide senior judgment on credit analysis.
- Oversee development of rating rationales, research publications, sector outlooks, and market commentary.
- Represent Fitch externally in meetings with issuers, sponsors, banks, investors, advisors, and other market participants.
- Lead, mentor, and develop analysts within the transport corporate and project finance team.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Champion analytical excellence and operational efficiency by adopting best practices and leveraging new technologies.
You May be a Good Fit if You Have:
- 12+ years of relevant experience in credit analysis role in corporates and/or project finance/infrastructure.
- Experience managing people and teams.
- A healthy sense of intellectual curiosity and a life-long learning mindset.
- Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; CFA, MBA, or other advanced qualification preferred.

- Extensive experience in project finance, infrastructure finance and/or extensive expertise in corporate credit analysis and forecasting.
- Deep understanding of project finance structures, financing documentation, contractual arrangements, and risk allocation frameworks.
- Strong ability to read and fully comprehend complex structures.
- Strong knowledge of the transport sectors, including airports, ports, toll roads, airlines, shipping and logistics.
- Excellent modelling skills and thorough familiarity with spreadsheet-based financial models.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and mentoring analysts.
