Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Business Analyst, Lead based out of our London, England office. The Fitch Group Scrum Master & Business Analysis Center of Excellence (CoE) is a global chapter dedicated to supporting, empowering and knowledge sharing for all organizational Agile practitioners. It is a community focused on evangelizing Scrum values and principles, helping squads follow best practices and lean processes, growing and supporting members in increasing their knowledge and expertise, while focusing on collaboration, continuous improvement and business value delivery.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Business and Technology Alignment: Collaborate with business partners to align technology solutions with business strategies and support complex business processes requiring technical solutions.
- Scrum Partnership: Partner with technical teams on Scrum processes, including story creation and backlog grooming, and assist with the analysis and documentation of workflows, system designs, and use-cases.
- Technical Insight and Documentation: Understand technical complexities, provide estimation insights, identify risks, and perform data profiling to validate requirements and document data flows between sub-systems.
- Education and Collaboration: Educate project team members on business goals and the value of software being produced, assist with smoke testing, and work with teams across the organization to advance projects.
What You Need to Have:
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis and requirements management, preferably with a strong technical background in SQL and Python.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work well with teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and a pro-active problem-solver mindset.
- Experience working in high-demand environments with superb follow-through and an ownership mentality.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks, Jira, and exposure to Appian and/or Qlik, as well as experience with workflows and workflow-related systems, is a plus.
