About the Team: The Fitch Legal team provides legal advice to its clients across the Fitch Group in understanding, evaluating and resolving legal issues relevant to their specific areas. The global team consists of 16 lawyers and paraprofessionals based in London, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Providing legal advice to credit analysts regarding structured finance, commercial lending and securities transactions
- Analyzing, drafting and negotiating financial data agreements
- Interpreting and negotiating both routine and complex contracts relating to, for example, licensing agreements and vendor contracts
- Performing company secretarial work
- Advising on various regulatory matters and submissions affecting Fitch’s ratings and non-ratings financial information services businesses.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- 4-10 years PQE
- Preference for UK-qualified solicitor, although we will consider other bar memberships
- Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in other language(s) a plus, especially widely spoken European languages, although not a requirement
- Excellent client references.
