Fitch Group is currently seeking a ‘Business Process Automation Engineer’ based out of our London office. As a leading, global financial information services provider, Fitch Group delivers vital credit and risk insights, robust data, and dynamic tools to champion more efficient, transparent financial markets.
The Business Process Automation (BPA) Team is responsible for automating projects using a combination of RPA and Agentic AI. The team works with members of the Business to identify Use Cases that could be automated, and then Designs, Develops, Tests & Deploys Bots or Agents to provide an automated solution. The BPA Team primarily uses ‘UiPath’ to build our automated solutions, but also leverages Microsoft ‘Co-Pilot Studio’ as well as other automation toolkits that are available at Fitch.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Discovery: Engineer will conduct process assessments to identify automation opportunities. This will include documenting the As-Is process, determining automation feasibility, understanding Risk and calculating benefits & ROI.
- Solution Design: Document the solution’s ‘Process Definition Document’, which includes core details on the process, requirements and process maps for the To-Be Solution. Identify variations and build proper exception handling. Determine the appropriate solution (Bot, Agent or hybrid) and leverage UiPath’s suite of products to provide the most complete, accurate automation.
- Development: Engineer will be responsible for building, configuring & maintaining the UiPath workflows, libraries and integrations (API’s, Connectors, Webhooks) that are part of the solution.
- Test, Deploy & Support: Engineer will create and execute a Test Plan, including creating Test Data & Test Cases to validate the results. The Engineer will work with the Business to conduct a UAT and confirm they are satisfied with the output.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance: Adhere to guidelines & best practices set by the BPA Team to minimize risk.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- 2-5 years experience in business analysis / process improvement.
- 1-3 years experience in automation development with UiPath or similar.
- Proven delivery of designing, developing & deploying UiPath solutions using the REFramework, with proper exception handling built into code.
- Practical experience with designing & building AI enabled automations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions.
