We are looking to recruit a FitCare Coach to deliver chair based exercise at care homes in and around Aberdeen and surrounding areas. The job can have fixed hours with the opportunity to take on more via holiday cover and the addition of new sites. FitCare Scotland is Scotland's only dedicated fitness company for the care sector working with both private homes for the elderly and organizations that support adults with disabilities. Full training if required and insurance will be provided once the candidates are successful after interview stage.
We are looking to build our fantastic team and are looking for applicants with the following:
- Reliability - a team member who our client care homes can trust and build a good working relationship with
- Motivation - keen to help others and promote health and well-being
- Confidence - able to lead group sessions for vulnerable people and manage potentially challenging behaviours
- Empathy - an understanding and compassion for those living in care
Applicants will need:
- A DBS/Disclosure (provided)
- Full Driving License and reliable vehicle with valid MOT
- Relevant qualifications in delivering exercise for vulnerable adults such as 'Chair Based Exercise' or 'Exercise for Special Populations' is preferred but not essential
- Proof they have the right to work in the UK
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
