Are you looking for an exciting, rewarding opportunity with a company that truly wants you to fulfil your potential? Believing there is opportunity is the first step in seeing those opportunities.

This is a hands-on CTO position. The successful candidate will be expected to actively contribute to the codebase, conduct technical audits, review pull requests, manage development resources and help drive the completion and launch of the EV1 MVP. This is not a management-only role.

Candidates should be comfortable working directly within Flutter, Firebase, AI integrations and modern mobile application architecture.

EV1 is a next generation wellness platform currently in the final phase of development. After approximately 12 months of design and development, the platform already includes:

  • 500+ screens
  • Existing Flutter codebase
  • Fully prototyped animation systems
  • Advanced onboarding journeys
  • Game Mode architecture
  • Flow Coin reward ecosystem
  • Flow Store functionality
  • Firebase infrastructure
  • Detailed product specifications
  • Extensive logic and user flow documentation

We are now looking for a CTO / Technical Co Founder to lead the final phase of development and help take the product from MVP to launch.

You will work directly alongside the founder and lead a team of up to 4 Flutter developers. Your initial priorities will include:

  • Final animation implementation
  • Backend architecture
  • Firebase architecture
  • Notification systems
  • Third party integrations
  • Business logic implementation
  • Production readiness
  • Launch preparation

EV1 is currently in the final stages of a pre-seed investment round. Initial funding has already been secured, with a second release structured around agreed product and commercial milestones. The successful CTO will be joining at a pivotal stage with:

  • Capital allocated towards development
  • A clear MVP roadmap
  • Defined commercial milestones
  • Long term scaling plans
  • Future engineering team expansion

The founder brings more than 20 years of commercial experience. Highlights include:

  • Built and scaled multiple businesses
  • Worked with over 1,400 gym owners
  • Multiple national industry awards
  • Personally led product strategy, UX refinement and commercial development throughout the past 12 months
  • Highly hands-on with rapid decision making and direct access to leadership

Who we are looking for:

Required:

  • Strong Flutter experience
  • Experience leading development teams
  • Mobile app architecture expertise
  • Firebase experience
  • SaaS or consumer app experience
  • Strong understanding of scalable infrastructure
  • Product minded leadership
  • Strong communication skills
  • Startup experience
  • Experience launching mobile applications
  • Ability to mentor developers
  • Commercial awareness

Desirable:

  • Gamification systems
  • Subscription products
  • Consumer wellness applications
  • AI integrations
  • Retention focused products
  • Experience scaling applications beyond 10,000 users

This is not a typical startup where you are joining a founder with an idea and a pitch deck. The vision is built. The UX is built. The design system is built. The user journeys are built. The frontend is substantially built. The animation systems are built. What we need now is the right technical leader to complete the final phase and help launch a product capable of becoming a global consumer platform.

If you are looking for meaningful ownership, significant upside and the opportunity to help shape a category defining wellness platform, we would love to hear from you.
