Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations across joinery, metal fabrication, powder coating, and final assembly lines

- Own production planning and scheduling using MRP/ERP systems to achieve aggressive delivery targets
- Optimise labour allocation, machine utilisation, material flow, and throughput for maximum efficiency
- Control stock levels, material supply chain, supplier performance, and prevent production bottlenecks
- Ensure powder coating quality, line throughput, colour consistency, and schedule adherence
- Drive lean manufacturing principles and efficient workflows for complex, mixed-material retail products
- Lead, motivate, and develop supervisors, team leaders, and shop-floor production teams
- Uphold the highest standards of health & safety, quality control, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery performance
Requirements / Skills / Experience
- Proven track record as a Production Manager (or equivalent senior role) in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience in metal fabrication, powder coating, joinery/cabinetry, and final assembly operations
- Experience managing fast-paced retail production, short lead-time, or high-changeover manufacturing settings
- Confident user of MRP/ERP systems, production planning software, and capacity planning tools
- Strong lean manufacturing knowledge, including continuous improvement, process optimisation, and waste reduction
- Hands-on leadership style with practical understanding of factory constraints, problem-solving, and operational excellence
- Excellent people management skills — motivating teams in a high-output, deadline-driven environment
