Middleweight Technical Designer Fit-Out Projects | London (Hybrid) At Fit Out UK we’re a growing and highly respected interiors and fit-out business seeking a Middleweight Technical Designer to join our expanding team.

This is an opportunity to work on exciting projects for major banking clients, taking concepts through to manufacture and installation.

The Role Working closely with design, production, and project teams, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate, manufacturing-ready technical drawings and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard.

You’ll turn creative concepts into practical, buildable solutions while working to demanding timescales and tight deadlines.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Produce detailed technical drawing packs for manufacture and installation
  • Create and develop designs using Autodesk Inventor (and Vault)
  • Translate design concepts into practical, buildable solutions
  • Prepare joinery, fabrication, sheet metal and fit-out detailing documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure technical accuracy
  • Support projects from design through to delivery
  • Manage multiple fast-moving projects simultaneously
  • Problem-solve technical challenges and maintain accurate drawing revisions throughout What We’re Looking For
  • Experience as a Technical Designer within the fit-out, interiors, shopfitting, joinery or retail equipment sectors
  • Strong Autodesk Inventor skills (essential)
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, finishes and construction methods
  • Experience producing technical drawings for manufacture
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach Desirable
  • Experience producing joinery or bespoke furniture drawing packs
  • Familiarity with Solid Works, Auto CAD, Adobe Suite or Revit What’s On Offer
  • Competitive salary depending on experience
