Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver to safely transport goods and materials to various destinations within the UK. The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV driving license, a proven track record of safe driving, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

What will you do?

The successful candidate will operate and drive different types of HGV / LGV / Van vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner. Complying with all regulations, you will ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy using pre and post use checks. This includes multiple nights out. This position involves tramping (working away from home for extended periods) for up to one week at a time. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with overnight stays and managing long shifts across a variety of routes. Also, as part of our client facing functions, you will liaise with clients, vendors, and other departments on a daily basis.

Hiring for the below shift pattern:

  • Sunday-Thursday - Nights
  • Starting time from 9am-1pm, Sunday
  • Starting time from 11am-7pm, Monday-Thursday
  • All hours paid at night rate

What do you need?

With at least 2 years’ experience, ideally in the retail, construction, or warehousing industry, you will need a valid HGV / LGV / Driving Licence (Category C or C+E) with a clean driving record. You must be able to commit to perform loading and unloading tasks, Moffett experience would be desirable.
