We are a four star adults only hotel overlooking Fistral Beach, home to award winning Fistral Spa as well as two rosette Dune Restaurant. We cater exclusively for adults and our award winning bar list is the perfect accompaniment to the jaw dropping ocean views. This role has a starting rate of £11.50 per hour. On successful completion of probation period you will receive an increase to £12 per hour and £50 in "love to Shop" vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To ensure all of our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the up most hospitality and care during their stay with us – we aim to provide an unforgettable experience
- To ensure all complaints are minimised and handled professionally as in accordance with our policies
- To work in line with company policies and manuals
- Work with the Food and Beverage Manager & Supervisor to maximise sales performance and achieve sales in line with targets
- Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs in the Restaurant Manager & Supervisor absence.
- To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual: Serve food and drinks, quickly and efficiently, meeting our five star standards.
- Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
- Make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range
- To assist in any function or events set ups in accordance with procedures
- To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company Policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
- To observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations
- Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy
- To ensure good working relationship with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
- To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
- All other duties as required
