At Fiskars Group we are unified and driven by our common purpose: pioneering design to make the everyday extraordinary. We are looking for two Factory Operatives to work at the Wedgwood factory, located in Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be an experienced and competent ceramic manufacturing operative and will be required to work on our iconic Jasper product. The key skills required are Casting and/or Ornamenting.
About you, our perfect candidate will:
- have previous experience of working in a similar role (although we are willing to provide training)
- have good dexterity, with a keen eye and attention to detail
- be approachable and friendly with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- have the ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team
- be willing to learn additional skills
Hours of work total 38 per week, working Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.06 (with 15 mins flexi time either side) and Friday 07.30 to 15.06 (with no flexi time). Applicants will be required to perform a trade test as part of our recruitment process. Please note that successful applicants will be expected to undertake training in additional processes to become multi-skilled.
