We're working with a high-growth global trading group seeking an accomplished Finance Director or Head of Finance to lead the finance function across multiple regulated and unregulated entities. This is a pivotal, London-based role for a hands-on finance leader with deep technical accounting experience in CFD/FX and proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
The Role:
- Oversee finance for a complex, international structure comprising three regulated entities and several unregulated subsidiaries across multiple regions.
- Lead a UK-based team, responsible for end-to-end finance operations, controls, reporting, and strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a UK-based finance team across all disciplines.
- Drive accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in financial systems and processes.
- Ensure strong governance, control, and compliance across regulated entities.
- Deliver consolidated management accounts, group reporting, and audit oversight.
- Manage regulatory reporting for multiple jurisdictions.
- Support FP&A activity and strategic decision-making at Board and investor level.
- Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance.
Experience & Capability:
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualified experience.
- Minimum 3+ years in a senior finance role within a CFD/FX brokerage or similar trading environment.
- Provide robust Lead Entity Control (LEC) oversight across group entities, ensuring consistent governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Track record managing multi-entity and multi-jurisdictional finance structures.
- Proven delivery of process and control improvements.
- Experienced in regulatory interaction and submissions.
- Confident communicator with senior stakeholders and the Board.
- Experienced people leader who inspires and develops their team.
