Reporting to the Head of Brand Management the Senior Brand Manager is responsible for working efficiently and effectively within the Brand Management team. Maintaining effective day to day management of the individual brands assigned, as specified within the group brand portfolio within the UK and Republic of Ireland markets.
This role represents an exciting opportunity to join us on the next part of our journey. Day to Day, you’ll be responsible for;
- Day-to-day direction and management of the brands assigned to them in the UK and ROI markets. Delivering against key performance indicators (KPIs) including margin, sales, share and distribution.
- Supporting and monitoring the financial management of each assigned brand to ensure decisions are made in the correct context of the P&L. Proactively managing the brand to limit cost increases and/or delivering cost price increases where required.
- Management of three Brand Managers and their portfolio of brands. Manage team priorities by brand, working with the Head of Brand to ensure delivery of brand and ZyroFisher expectations within the resource and budget available.
- Developing and coaching the team on a day-to-day basis ensuring they have the capability and capacity to be successful in their role.
- Supporting the Head of Brand to identify and deliver future strategic opportunities for ZyroFisher.
- Regular, ongoing review and analysis of the performance of the individuals brand portfolio against clearly defined milestones and key performance indicators.
- Gathering and analysing market, consumer and competitor information, incorporating feedback received from customers and colleagues. Develop insights to create a competitive annual plan for the market. Responding to immediate issues raised, including via call sheets, suggesting suitable solutions to get the plan back on track.
- Regular visits to retailers with Account Managers, to help understand the market, competition and retailer requirements.
- Developing and presenting recommendations to improve the commercial impact of assigned brands. Implementing and managing the aligned strategic direction of the individual brands in the territory.
- Developing and maintaining assigned brands annual marketing plans through collaboration with both internal and external marketing teams. Ensuring adherence to key seasonal events and translation of the brands regional business plan into a go-to-market plan.

- Proven leadership and management of people in a fast paced and multi-dimensional environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of developing, delivering and managing brand strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities combined with a consultative approach to managing complex relationships.
- Demonstrate aptitude of financial analysis and detailed reporting to support the brand development and sales strategy.
- Must be willing to travel regularly, spend time at suppliers and in the market.
- Have an up to date and thorough understanding of the cycling market and individual sales channels including competitor brands.
- Able to work two/three days per week from our Darlington
- Needs to be interested in sports – ideally cycling and be able to demonstrate a passion for the sport and the industry.
