Overview
Responsible for trade marketing activities across key retail partners (AO, John Lewis, Harvey Norman) and direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels, ensuring cohesive brand presence, commercially impactful promotions, and optimised customer engagement. The role bridges B2B retailer relationships and D2C digital executions, acting as the link between local market objectives and global marketing strategies.
The Role
LOCATION: Hybrid β London & Northampton
Reports To: UK Head of Marketing
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute joint marketing and promotional programs with each retail partner to maximise category growth, share, and profitability.
- Manage launch plans for new products, including retailer-specific merchandising, promotional content, and campaign support.
- Analyse retail partner performance metrics (sell-in, sell-out, digital traffic, promotional ROI) and present actionable recommendations.
- Ensure brand consistency across partner eCommerce platforms, product pages, and advertising placements.
- Collaborate closely with retailer marketing teams, sales, and internal stakeholders to secure optimal visibility and promotional activity.
D2C Channel Management
- Manage and grow the companyβs market presence through customer review programs, including partnerships with third-party review platforms (Which? Trustpilot), ensuring measurable improvement (+X new reviews per month/quarter).
- Liaise with review management provider Bazaarvoice (global-led relationship), ensuring localisation and market-specific enhancements.
- In collaboration with global teams, create and implement customer review acquisition programmes, linking review generation to generative search visibility and SEO optimisation.
- Support First Party Data Acquisition Campaigns to expand the customer email database; brief and coordinate with Global Marketing Automation teams on EDMs and lifecycle campaigns.

- Strong analytical capability to assess performance data and translate into actionable strategies.
- Relationship management skills for both retail partner stakeholders and global marketing functions.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce trading and digital marketing levers (reviews, SEO, data capture, automation).
- Ability to balance global guidelines with local market needs to deliver commercial results.
- Commercial acumen with focus on ROI and customer lifetime value.
KPIs / Measures of Success
- Retail partner sales growth and share gains across AO, John Lewis, Harvey Norman, CIH.
- Increase in verified customer reviews and review ratings across all platforms.
- Execution accuracy and timeliness of the eCommerce Trading Calendar, including local and global activity set for D2C.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2 years+ marketing experience, preferably B2B or trade.
- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
- Ideal, but not essential β brand marketing experience.
- Competent in Microsoft Office 365 tools β specifically Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with digital platforms β specifically Power BI, Google Analytics.
- Some UK travel required to visit retailers, e.g. AO, John Lewis, Harvey Norman and Ireland.
- Limited out of hours calls/meetings with global teams are required.
