At Fisher Jones Greenwood, our people are at the heart of everything we do. With seven offices across Essex, we’ve built a collaborative culture where excellence in legal services is more than a goal—it’s our passion. Since joining the Lawfront group in 2021, we’ve benefitted from significant investment, ambition, and growth, and we’re now looking for a talented Solicitor to join our thriving Dispute Resolution team in Chelmsford.

Benefits

  • Work alongside exceptionally skilled colleagues who will add real value to your career.
  • Be part of a fast‑growing, well‑financed business with big ambitions.
  • Receive a competitive salary reflective of your experience and ability.
  • Access flexible benefits tailored to your needs.
  • Benefit from ongoing training, mentoring, and a state‑of‑the‑art case management system to make your work more efficient.

The Role

As part of an ambitious department, you will advise on various contentious civil and commercial matters, including property and construction disputes, contentious probate matters, cohabitee disputes, debt recovery, negligence‑related matters, partnership, director and shareholder disputes. You will be expected to manage your own caseload; you’ll get exposure to complex transactions at an early stage by supporting senior team members and you’ll actively engage in business development to grow both your own and the firm’s network.

What about you?

You’ll ideally come from a Dispute Resolution background in a well‑regarded law firm, likely you’ll have around 5+ years PQE – but we’re definitely flexible for the right person. Importantly, you’ll have the ability to offer advice that will achieve the best result for the client. With a proactive, self‑motivated approach you’ll have the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
