The Private Client Advice group provides regulated financial advice to more than 15,000 existing UK clients. Reporting to a Private Client Advice Team Leader, you will typically work with pensions, ISAs, General Investment Accounts, investment bonds and trusts. There will be opportunities for personal development in the role and the opportunity to become certified within our global asset management firm.
The Day-to-Day:
- Provide ongoing financial advice to existing, as well as prospective clients covering a broad range of financial planning topics:
- Pensions and Retirement Planning, pension contributions, carry forward calculations & drawdown advice
- Inheritance tax and Estate Planning, including trust planning
- Tax-efficient cash flow strategies using cash-flow analyses
- Optimise Investments – Reviewing suitability of investment wrappers and optimising tax efficiency
Your Qualifications:
- University graduate or equivalent combination of education and a competent level of client facing experience
- Level 4 qualified – Diploma in Financial Planning/Regulated Financial Planning
- Level 6/Chartered status would be attractive but not essential
- Genuine desire to provide a high standard of advice and service to clients
- Manage complexity and coordinate across several departments under strict timelines
- You are engaging and can connect with a wide array of audiences by phone and email
- Exceptional organisational skills, effective diary management and adhering to deadlines
- Detailed knowledge of Inheritance Tax Planning, Defined Contribution pensions, as well as up to date on current legislation
