The Team & Focus of the Role We have a very exciting opportunity for a Senior Land Referencer to come and join our rapidly expanding Land Referencing team in our Infrastructure Services division. This role is pivotal in assisting to expand the knowledge and experience we currently have in the team, to meet the increasing needs of our clients. You could be a Land Referencer currently and looking for a step-up, or you could already be a Senior Land Referencer who is looking for a new and fresh challenge, as well as the opportunity to develop and support a newly created team. We have been providing land referencing services for projects large and small for over 20 years and are now looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our new standalone team of Land Referencers. The team will be working on major projects alongside other smaller land referencing projects with a unified approach and working practice. Working closely with the project delivery and GIS teams, our land referencing team is key to the consistent and proven delivery of diligent land referencing to support DCO’s/CPOs or TWAOS. This is a permanent, full-time position (Mon-Fri), based in our Birmingham office within our hybrid working policy. In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in: * A discretionary bonus scheme * A generous holiday scheme which commences at 25 days with a sliding scale up to 30 days plus your birthday off and two extra half days allocated for Christmas Eve & New Years Eve * Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave * An online money saving portal and access to a 24/7 mental health & wellbeing service. * Volunteering Leave equating to 2 days per year (pro rata if you’re part-time) Duties will include: * Overseeing and quality assurance of data inputted into our ownership database. * Application and development of land referencing methodologies and processes to support project enquiry delivery. * Overseeing teams and processes used for site visits. * Data management to include interpretation and analysis of all data associated with land. * Reviewing complex title documents and integrating resulting data into BOR schedules. * Liasing with GIS and project delivery teams * Attending client meetings * Reporting to client and project teams on progress. The successful candidate will have… Essential * Degree in geography, land surveying or similar discipline which relates to land. * Proven experience within land referencing working on major projects going towards DCO/CPO/TWAOs * Able to manage multiple projects and team members at once. * Strong communication skills and able to communicate with both internal clients and external clients and landowners * Full Driving license Desirable * People Management skills * Experience managing Mobile data collection tools * Knowledge of GIS systems and FME Why Fisher German?
