The Team & Focus of the Role

Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for administrative support? Our Infrastructure Services team continue to go from strength to strength and as such, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to come and join our team based in Bury St Edmunds. At Fisher German our customers and clients are at the heart of what we do. Our Infrastructure Services division assists in delivering projects for the UK on behalf of clients across a range of different sectors including electricity, gas, water, fibre optics, oil, and renewables.

This role would suit an individual who is a motivated self-starter and really thrives working in fast-paced environments with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to provide great service both to internal colleagues and external clients. This is a permanent, full-time position (Mon-Fri), based in our Bury St Edmunds office within our hybrid working policy.

Duties will include:

  • Answering the phone and redirecting calls professionally
  • Dealing with general enquiries from clients and internal teams
  • Preparing documents including letters, reports, and templates
  • Creating and running reports as required
  • Performing mail merges and document automation tasks
  • Conducting data analysis and cleansing to maintain database accuracy
  • Creating COIs (Certificates of Interest)
  • Making hotel bookings
  • Placing stationary/supplies orders
  • Administrative tasks include invoicing, managing incoming mail, filing documents, and inputting and maintaining data.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent organisational skills, and is confident working to deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Polite and professional manner when dealing with the general public
  • Confidence with using Microsoft Office, with great IT skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks
  • Clear and professional communication styles, both written and verbal
