Our excellent graduate programme and APC support aims to provide you with the best start and progression opportunities in your professional career to become a Chartered Surveyor and beyond. As a Graduate Surveyor within our Infrastructure Services Division (ISD), you will work on a variety of exciting projects, playing a crucial role in developing and maintaining the infrastructure networks that support communities across the UK and contribute towards achieving net zero.
Our Infrastructure Services Division works on projects ranging from small-scale maintenance and refurbishment schemes to the acquisition of land rights for nationally significant infrastructure projects involving hundreds of landowners. From day one, you will play an active role in helping to deliver projects across the water, electricity, gas and hydrogen sectors. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including landowners, clients, contractors and utility providers, you will gain exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle.
No two days are the same, with opportunities to be involved in land referencing, negotiating survey access, securing consents for works, acquiring land rights and settling compensation claims. Your work will support both existing and future infrastructure networks, above and below ground, from maintaining essential assets to helping deliver major new projects on a national scale. Through this work, you will help shape the future of our communities by ensuring reliable access to water, energy and other critical services for generations to come.
You will be fully immersed in a fast-evolving surveying sector, developing specialist skills and experience while working on projects that play a vital role in supporting the UK's transition to a more sustainable, low-carbon future and the achievement of net zero ambitions.
