The Role
With our new Birmingham city centre office opening towards the end of 2023, we’re looking to grow our Commercial Valuations team and assist us with the next stage of our growth. Primarily, you’ll be responsible for commercial valuations across the Midlands, have a keen sense for networking & ambition to develop our portfolio in the area, and be comfortable managing a small team of Valuers. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Valuer to take the next step and have ownership of developing a local portfolio while being a part of a national team. We believe in progression, and this position has a clear and defined path forward. Our new team member will be based at our Birmingham City Centre office (Colmore Row) within our hybrid working policy. Ideally, this will be a full-time role (37.5 hours), but we are open to discussing part-time hours (minimum 30 hours).
In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible for:

Duties will include:
- Delivering excellent client service to a broad range of clients
- Proactively developing new business opportunities and demonstrating a successful track record in business development
- Nurturing existing relationships and creating new ones with banks, private and corporate clients, and professional contacts
- Working autonomously and collaborating with valuation and related service teams
- Mentoring and supervising Graduates
The successful candidate will have...
- Minimum of 5–7 years post-qualification experience in commercial property
- MRICS / FRICS qualification
- RICS Registered Valuer (desirable)
- Ability to manage, develop, and motivate team members
- Full driving license
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- High awareness of customer service requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within specific fee structures
