Associate Partner - Rural

The Team & Focus of the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Partner to join our Rural Property Management team based in Market Harborough. The Market Harborough office is a lively team of over 30 individuals, working across a number of different disciplines. This role focuses primarily on estate management and rural property consultancy, acting for a diverse portfolio of private and charitable clients, alongside a broad range of rural professional services. You’ll work on both traditional and corporate management, supporting long-standing client relationships across our rural estates. Fisher German’s Rural Property Management team operates as part of an integrated national business, working closely with colleagues across agri-business, valuation, building consultancy, and farms and residential agency to deliver a comprehensive service to our clients. Based in Market Harborough, this is a permanent full-time position based on 37.5 hours (Monday – Friday), we also operate a hybrid working policy. In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

Duties will include:

• Provide leadership to the local team of 5 colleagues, acting as the senior point of contact for colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in other teams including Agribusiness, Rural & Residential Lettings, Natural Capital, Minerals, Building Consultancy, Planning and Development and Agency
• Manage and develop existing retained estate management portfolios, ensuring high standards of service delivery
• Lead client care and relationship management, developing long-standing client relationships and mentoring teams to ensure continuity, capability, and resilience
• Undertake a broad range of rural professional practice work in support of estate and client requirements
• Advise on lease renewals, rent reviews, landlord and tenant matters, and wider property management issues
• Take responsibility for income and expenditure management, including CAPEX delivery, budgeting, and financial performance for corporate and traditional clients
• Champion and embed Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) principles across all aspects of your work
• Deliver a first-class client experience, strengthening the Fisher German brand while identifying opportunities to grow and expand the business

The successful candidate will have:

• MRICS qualified and 5 years PQE
• A training background within Rural Surveying
• Proven ability to win work
• Able to work on own initiative
• Confident communicator
• Effective relationship builder with both external clients & internal stakeholders
• Able to plan travel and work efficiently when on site with some national and overnight travel
• Regular user of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word & Outlook
• Ambitious and forward thinking
